Rimu Teardrop
Once Aotearoa’s standard framing timber, Rimu is transformed in the Teardrop, where recovered, then and laminated wood is given new life in a beautiful form. While every lamp base has the same form the colour and grain of the timber varies from base to base, making each lamp its own unique creation. Sometimes there will be nail hole or two that carries the story of the timbers past and adds to the allure of the design.
The Rimu Teardrop comes standard with either an Onion (light orange) or Avocado (light pink) conical shade. Just like the lamp bases the handmade nature of the shades means that no one shade is truly the same. Due to the process of using natural dyestuff the depth of colour and subtle imperfections will vary. As this item is made to order there is a lead time of up to 4 weeks before dispatch

Each lamp is independently tagged and tested and has a 1.4m long lead and an in-line switch. This lamp takes a E27 bulb, we recommend using a warm LED bulb.
